Simplify How You Prioritize by Asking Yourself One Question

Do you find yourself spending most of your time doing things that aren’t really important?  It’s so easy to get caught up in the little things every day! I shared my tip for simplifying how I prioritize during my incredible interview with Heather Hubbard for her podcast, Hustle & Flow. I’d like to share it with you, too.

When I face my long list of responsibilities and struggle with what to do, I use the tool of comparison to help me prioritize. I ask myself, “What is more important to me at this moment?” For example, doing laundry or spending time with my son. Obviously, my son wins this one!

How do I handle the tasks that are less important?

• Option A – If possible, I remove the task or activity from my life.
• Option B – When I cannot remove it, such as laundry, I delegate it.

“It IS possible to consciously choose to do the things that are a priority in your life.”
